Dr. Scott Short grew up going to different Chiropractors because of his scoliosis. It wasn’t until he met Dr. Brandon Shriner that he understood what Chiropractic was really about. Dr. Shriner talked about how the nervous system controls every cell, gland, joint, and tissue in the body and how subluxation interferes with the nervous system’s ability to do its job. This inspired Dr. Short to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. After graduation, Dr. Short and his family relocated to Moscow, ID to establish Short’s Family Chiropractic.
Dr. Short is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and a Pediatric Experience(PX) Pro Doc. He is Advanced Certified in Torque Release Technique and primarily utilizes TRT and MC2. During his internship, Dr. Short had an opportunity to work with a Pediatric Chiropractor and found that he loved working with kids. Dr. Short is looking forward to continuing to work with kids and families.
